Looking for the right words, searching for the rhyme;
Digging through the memories, running out of time.
Remember when your hero, the one you admired so much;
In perfect 6th grade innocence, shocked you with a punch.
How can it be, you've been everything to me,
What can I do: Oh, humility.
Then later your sister's husband, who planned to do you proud,
Got shot down and wasted, his future disallowed.
Now there's trouble brewing, you don't know what to do;
All their pain and heartache, they blame it all on you.
What can I do? Oh, humility.
2025 - Sounds like a confession in a therapy session. Turns out that that's exactly what it was.
